One inch tubular webbing is the standard for rigging both natural and artificial anchors and tied slings.
Favored by canyoneers and climbers for its uncompromising construction, this webbing outperforms normal mil-spec webbing in strength, flexibility, knotability and durability. There is a minimum exposure of individual fibers as a result of BlueWater's high thread count and fine weave pattern, resulting in 94% greater abrasion resistance.
BlueWater webbing also has greater strength in knots than mil-spec webbing. Strength tests show that BlueWater webbing tested at over 7,000 lbf. in a loop joined with a "water knot". Mil-spec webbing tested at just over 5,400 lbf.
